Sonali Bendre Behl, who was recently diagnosed with high-grade metastasized cancer is currently in New York for the treatment. While she has been dealing with cancer very strongly, the actress recently met one of her well-wishers from the industry. Veteran actor Anupam Kher visited the actress in the States and announced the same in his tweet. The actor stated, "I have done few films with @iamsonalibendre. We’ve met socially many times in Mumbai. She always has been bright & a very warm person. But it is only in the last 15days that I got the opportunity to spend some quality time with her in NY. And I can easily say,'She is my HERO.'"
The news of Sonali Bendre's illness did shake Bollywood however, her strong way of handling the whole situation deserves a deference! On several posts, the actress credited her husband Goldie Behl and best friends Sussanne Khan and Dia Mirza for staying by her side during these trying times. Sonali recently took to Instagram to share a birthday wish for her 13-year-old son, Ranveer. The actress has been fighting this deadly illness with a lot of courage and is definitely an inspiration to many.

Since she is not with her son on his 13th birthday, Sonali wrote a poignant post where she said, "Ranveeeeer! My sun, my moon, my stars, my sky... Okay, maybe I'm being a bit melodramatic, but your 13th birthday deserves this. Wow, you're a teenager now... Will need some time to wrap my head around that fact. I can't tell you enough how proud I am of you... Your wit, your humour, your strength, your kindness, and even your mischief. Happy happy birthday, my not-so-little one. It's the first one that we're not together... I miss you terribly. Lots and lots of love always and forever.... biiiiig hug!" We hope Sonali successfully wins over cancer and returns to India soon. The 43-year-old actress has switched on the sunshine mode and we're so glad that she is so positive!
