On Saturday, the film performed even better and is now looking to finish the opening weekend with fantastic figures. Badla Box Office Collection Day 1: Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu's Crime Thriller Beats Opening Day Record of Pink, Mints Rs 5.04 Crore.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the popular microblogging site Twitter a while back and announced the updated figures. He wrote, "#Badla records superb growth on Day 2... Metros/multiplexes are rocking... Day 3 [Sun] will score higher numbers... Eyes ₹ 23 cr [+/-] opening weekend... On course to be a HIT... Fri 5.04 cr, Sat 8.55 cr. Total: ₹ 13.59 cr. India biz. Gross BOC: ₹ 16.03 cr."

Further, trade portal Boxofficeindia.com stated, "Badla is doing well in the metros and will notch up a decent weekend total and a solid trend but its all about the weekdays for these films and what they do after the first week. Despite releasing alongside Captain Marvel, Big B and Pannu's film has managed to stay put at the box office and is also faring extremely well at the ticket windows. Going by the current trend, after Pink, it looks like Badla is going to be the second hit for Senior Bachchan and Taapsee without a doubt.
