Bala is raging at the box office. The premise, the characterisation, and of course, Ayushmann Khurrana has made the film one of the biggies of Bollywood. It is made at a budget of Rs 25 crore, if reports are to be believed and it has already earned more than Rs 50 crore in four days. Bala Box Office: 5 Reasons Why Ayushmann Khurrana’s Film Made a Bigger Impact Than Sunny Singh’s Ujda Chaman

First Monday is always seen as a crucial day to judge whether or not a film will lose steam in its first week or continue to zoom ahead with full force. Bala obviously belongs to the second category as the first Monday numbers are tremendously good. The film earned Rs 8.26 crore and gloriously passed the Monday litmus test. The total now stands at Rs 52.21 crore.

Today is a partial holiday and thus, the film will get the benefit of the same. But it needs to be remembered that all of Ayushmann Khurrana's films are not really holiday releases, yet they have managed to make a mark in last few years. So the trick is, it doesn't matter if your film doesn't release on holidays. It all depends on content and execution.
