Batti Gul Meter Chalu Song Har Har Gange

Shahid Kapoor's upcoming movie, Batti Gul Meter Chalu, is about the corruption in the electricity board that leads to unsuspecting consumers getting exorbitant bills. The movie is directed by Shree Narayan Singh of Toilet - Ek Prem Katha fame and also stars Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead. Shahid plays a carefree lawyer in the town of Hrishikesh whose conscience gets pricked when his friend, played by Divyendu Sharma, commits suicide after being unable to bear the huge electricity bills. Batti Gul Meter Chalu Song Gold Tamba: Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor Groove on This Typical Bollywood Number

The latest song from Batti Gul Meter ChaluHar Har Gange, comes at the moment when Shahid's character is at his weakest, repenting over the fact that he couldn't help his friend when he was alive. He finds solace and strength in the gods, considering Hrishikesh is a holy city. With that aspect, Har Har Gange is a very goose-bump inducing song that is powerful and beautifully composed by Sachet-Parampara, with lyrics are written by Siddharth-Garima. Arijit Singh, as always, renders this song as efficiently as he does.
