Salman Khan-starrer Bharat is releasing on June 5 on the auspicious festival of Eid al-Fitr. The film is clashing with the Hollywood release Dark Phoenix, the twelfth film from the X-Men franchise. Speaking about Bharat, the one arresting aspect for the cine-goers is that director Ali Abbas Zafar brings back one of the most loved on-screen Jodis of Salman and Katrina on the big screen. The duo was last seen in Zafar's 2017 blockbuster outing Tiger Zinda Hai. Salman Khan's good luck charm with the festival of Eid being good for him at the box-office is quite an old trend now.

It all began from the year 2009 when his film Wanted turned out to be a profitable fare at the box-office. This hit formula has worked well for Salman at the box-office whether it was Dabangg, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan. The trend hit a roadblock when his last two Eid releases, Tubelight and Race 3, didn't work as per expectations, though both had grossed more than Rs 100 crore at the box office. With Bharat, trade experts are expecting a resurgence for Salman Khan's clout in the theatres. Bharat: Nore Fatehi Reveals Her Bridal Look from the Salman Khan Film – See Pics
