Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor's latest outing Chhichhore, which released on September 6, is continuing its winning streak at the box office. The film is inching closer to breach the Rs 100 crore mark. Chhichhore, which opened to Rs 7.32 crore and managed to earn over Rs 94 crore in 10 days, has taken its total collection to Rs 98.08 crore on Monday (September 17). Earlier today, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the micro-blogging site to share the official collection of the film. He wrote "#Chhichhore is a BO champ... Inches closer to ₹ 💯 cr mark... Maintains a strong grip on [second] Mon... This one’s not going to slow down soon... [Week 2] Fri 5.34 cr, Sat 9.42 cr, Sun 10.47 cr, Mon 4.02 cr. Total: ₹ 98.08 cr. #India biz." Chhichhore Movie Review: Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor and Gang Are No ‘Losers’ in This Amusing, Heartwarming Nitesh Tiwari Film

In another tweet, he wrote, "#Chhichhore benchmarks... Crossed ₹ 50 cr: Day 5 ₹ 75 cr: Day 9 ⭐️ Will cross ₹ 💯 cr mark on Day 12 [second Tue] #India biz. SUPER-HIT."

Talking about the movie, our in-house film critic Sreeju Sudhakaran wrote in his review, "Don't go by the film's very unassuming promotions. Chhichhore is no Dangal, and it never even aims to be that. Instead what Chhichhore promises is to be a fun, feel-good, nostalgic ride that pays ode to friendship and love, and it succeeds at that with more than double the passing marks. Go for this!"

Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari (who has directed films like Chillar Party and Bhoothnath Returns), the quirky entertainer is set against the backdrop of an engineering college (according to reports). Besides Sushant and Shraddha, Chhichhore also features Varun Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty, Tushar Pandey, Saharsh Shukla and Prateik Babbar (who will be seen playing a negative role in the film). Bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is presented by Fox Star Studios. Stay tuned!
