We like Emraan Hashmi for being his realistic self; both on and off the big screen. The B-town actor has impressed us by making some really unconventional movie choices and by proving time and again that he has a solid fan base that directors want to cash in on. As opposed to his bad-boy image, that has helped him garner that commendable fan base, Hashmi is quite accessible and polite as a person.
One quality that is as much endearing about Hashmi is candidness. He calls a spade a spade without being corrosive with his words. So when asked recently about the way things function in B-town, Hashmi had this to say. "An actor is probably the most insecure person. Anyone who tells you he's not insecure is lying. From being relevant, to staying alive in a really competitive terrain, it's not easy," Emraan told PTI in an interview. "Everyone's struggling to stay afloat. That's the nature of the business and that's what's fun about it. It's not easy, but it's a high," Emraan Hashmi Is All Set To Play IAF Officer KC Kuruvilla In 'Vayusena'
He further added, "Everything has to lead to the next thing. I don't have a road map. It's just holding on to the next opportunity and moving on. It's been 18 years for me in the industry. There are so many new people coming on the block, it's insane. You've got to be on your toes," he said
