Ayushmann Khurrana's Dream Girl managed to receive a lot of praises from the audiences as well as critics. The film took off to a great start at the box office too and has continued to remain steady over the weekdays. The comedy-drama kicked off its second weekend quite well despite new releases as it collected Rs 5.30 crores on Friday, thus taking its total to Rs 77.50 at the India box office. It is amazing how the film has managed to make a collection of over 75 crores in eight days. Dream Girl's second Friday collections are exceptionally considering that this week consisted of three new releases including biggies such as The Zoya Factor, Prassthanam and Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. Looks like Ayushmann's film has connected well with the audiences. The actor has been enjoying a great year so far what with the success of Article 15 first and now this film.

Dream Girl also starred Nushrat Bharucha in a lead role. The film starred Ayushmann in the role of an actor who thanks to his talent of imitating a female voice finds himself playing the role of Sita in the local play of Ram Leela. Things take a funny turn when he gets a job as a telecaller where he uses his female voice to entice customers.
