Early-Morning Incident at Actor’s Residence

Recounting the episode, Sinha said Govinda managed to protect himself during the incident, which occurred around 4 AM. “He keeps receiving threat calls. Thank God he had a gun with him when he was attacked. He chased everyone away, or who knows what could have happened. I rushed to him around 4 am. We also filed an FIR, and we have a video of what transpired that night,” Sinha told ANI. Sinha also addressed confusion surrounding a separate incident from October 2024, when Govinda was hospitalised after accidentally shooting himself in the leg while cleaning his licensed revolver at his Mumbai residence. According to police at the time, the firearm misfired as the actor was placing it in a cupboard while preparing to leave for the airport to catch a flight to Kolkata. No complaint was lodged in that case, and authorities ruled out any foul play.

Manager Dismisses Bankruptcy Rumours

Sinha also denied social media rumours claiming that Govinda is facing financial difficulties. The speculation intensified after the actor was recently seen hiring a taxi to travel to the airport. “Govinda doesn’t just have one car; he has many. The claim that he’s bankrupt and begging around is completely baseless,” Sinha said. Responding to reports suggesting that Govinda is performing at schools and private events due to financial strain, Sinha clarified that this is part of the actor’s profession. “That’s his profession!
