Hrithik Roshan recently impressed his fans with his performance in the recently released Super 30 where he played the role of a Math genius from Bihar. There's no doubt that the actor loves a challenge and it looks like he is all set to dip himself into a mythological character for his next. According to reports, Hrithik Roshan has been approached for Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. It seems to be a time when mythological dramas are becoming a trend considering we had also heard that Aamir was planning to star in a film adaptation of Mahabharata. Hrithik Roshan Opens Up about Krrish 4, Says He Won’t Make the Film If His Vision Is Not Matched

According to Filmfare, Hrithik Roshan has already given a nod for Tiwari's film and is all set to play the role of Lord Rama. The film is being helmed by Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udyawar who had previously expressed an interest about making a film on the holy epic. Apparently, the film will be a live-action trilogy and will be shot in 3D. The film is expected to release in not just Hindi but also Tamil and Telugu. The film will be produced by Allu Aravind, Namit Malhotra and Madhu Mantena. This certainly seems like a big ambitious project and with Hrithik's latest statement about the uncertainty of Krrish 4, it looks like this could be his biggest project.

Hrithik has already proven his acting mettle with various roles and made a great impact with period films such as Jodha Akbar. It will certainly be interesting to see him play a mythological role and we bet fans are going to be super thrilled to hear about this project.

There hasn't been any official announcement from the makers of Hrithik Roshan yet. Interestingly, reports earlier also suggested that Madhu Mantena has been insisting on casting Deepika Padukone as Sita. If all goes well, this will be Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan's first film together. In the meantime, we are excited to see how Hrithik changes his image from being a superhero in Krrish to becoming a mythological hero in this film.
