After the success of Golmaal Again and far superior Stree, horror comedies are Bollywood's next go-to move. But, boy, were we surprised when we learnt that a dance-horror movie is in the making now. The movie will be bankrolled by Zee Studios. Welcome to a new world. Bhoot Police: Fatima Sana Shaikh, Saif Ali Khan and Ali Fazal Headline the 3D Horror Comedy Franchise – See First Pic.

The idea does sound exciting when the dust settles. "As a choreographer, I wanted to explore my skills in the dancing world by without trying to attempt a film on the lines of Step Up. So I came up with the concept of a dance-based horror-comedy. It sets the platform to create something magical,” said Bosco who is working on the screenplay with a team of writers," Bosco has said.

He cited the example of Michael Jackson's Thriller in the genre to make his point. The movie is currently under development with no casting choice made yet. Though, reports do suggest that contestants from the dance-based reality show Dance India Dance will be picked to star in the film in special roles. Also, an A-lister will be roped in to play the lead role. Rajkummar Rao and Dinesh Vijan’s Next Horror Comedy Titled Rooh-Afza!

Maybe the idea is to make a dance movie with an absolute non-dancer of an A-lister to make it horrifying to watch? But we are getting ahead of ourselves here. We will be looking forward to this one. With Bosco, we can definitely expect some kickass choreography in the film. Bosco, with his choreography partner, Caesar, has choreographed dance numbers for movies like Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Baar Baar Dekho, Student of the Year, Gunday to name a few.
