The trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana's upcoming film Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan dropped on January 20 and is already receiving a lot of love from netizens. The film marks the debut of TVF fame actor Jitendra Kumar in Bollywood. The film which revolves around a same-sex love story between Ayushmann and Jitendra's characters is a light-hearted comedy with a message. The film also boasts of a strong supporting cast of Gajraj Rao, Neena Gupta, Manurishi Chaddha, Maanvi Gagroo, Pankhuri Awasthy, and Neeraj Singh in key roles. The actor first rose to popularity with TVF (The Viral Fever's videos). His comedy sketches for TVF included famed ones such as Munna Jazbaati : The Q-tiya intern, Tech Conversations With Dad and so on. He also had a cameo role in the hit series Permanent Roommates starring Sumeet Vyas in lead. Although, Kumar received immense popularity for playing 'Jitu aka Jitendra Maheshwari' on TVF's much-loved show, Pitchers revolving around Indian start-ups.

Jitendra Kumar as Munna Jazzbati:

Jitendra Kumar first left everyone in splits with his role as 'Munna Jazzbati' in this TVF video where he essayed the role of an over-emotional interne. We bet this video will still have you laughing your guts out. After which, he regularly appeared in their other comedy sketches including the one where he played the spoof character on now Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

He later moved on to Pitchers which unfortunately wrapped up in only one season. The actor then bagged a lead role in Kota Factory which is considered to be one of the best Indian web-shows. The show featured him in the role of as Jeetu bhaiyya, a too-good-to-be-true teacher at a coaching institute for IIT aspirants.

As for his Bollywood debut, Kumar is seen romancing Ayushmann Khurrana and the duo even share a kiss in the trailer which has certainly grabbed a lot of eyeballs. After impressing audiences with his act in web-shows, it certainly is going to be interesting to see Jitendra take on this quirky role on the big screen. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan has been directed by Hitesh Kewalya and is all set to hit the screens on February 21, 2020.
