This Independence Day, three big movies are clashing with each other for a share of the box office. So there is Akshay Kumar's period drama, Gold that is based around India's first gold medal win in hockey as a free country. Then there is John Abraham's thriller, Satyameva Jayate, that also stars Manoj Bajpayee. Finally, there is Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, that brings the Deols, Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby, together again, with Salman Khan seen in a cameo.

With these three movies coming out, there is definitely a possibility that they will eat into each other's box office collections. During a recent media interaction, John Abraham was asked about what he feels about Satyameva Jayate clashing with Gold.

He had said, "Akshay is an actor in Gold and I am an actor in Satyameva Jayate. That’s a producer’s decision. It is about Excel Entertainment and T-Series, so I have no say in that at all. As far as competing with Akshay is concerned, I want to make it clear that he is my senior in the industry. I love him and I have always wished the best for him and I am sure he will also want the best for me." Satyameva Jayate is directed by Milap Zaveri.

Looking at what happened when Bhavesh Joshi Superhero clashed with Veere Di Wedding, it is not advisable to have these three movies coming out on August 15.
