Vidyut Jammwal's Junglee trailer is impressive, so much so that it is being touted to be one of B-Town's much-awaited releases. However, there has been a small change in the movie's release plans. We had recently reported about how Karan Johar had brought forward the release of his period movie Kalank, albeit by 2 days (April 19 to April 17), so that it could enjoy a full week of an uninterrupted run before Avengers: Endgame dropped in theatres on April 25. Now, Junglee makers have also decided to take a page from Karan's book and pre-pone their film. Earlier scheduled to release on April 5, the movie has been pre-poned now and will release on March 29. A new poster with the film's revised release date was released by the makers. This means that the movie will clash in theatres with Salman Khan productions' Notebook. Take a look at it below:
Junglee serves as actor Vidyut Jammwal's comeback to the screens after Commando 2. And while we will definitely see Vidyut pull some mean stunts (any of his movies are incomplete without it), they will be tad lesser in number than we usually see the trained martial arts actor do.
Junglee traces the journey of a man (Vidyut) and his close bond with an elephant named Bhola. He grows extremely close to the pachyderm, so much so that he fights off poachers who want to take the elephant and his herd away. Backed by Junglee Pictures, it is directed by Chuck Russell, who has helmed Hollywood films such as The Mask, Eraser and The Scorpion King.
