Controversies and Kangana Ranaut go hand in hand. While this new one might not be directly about her, but she is tangentially related to it. Her hairstylist, Brendon Allister De Gee, 42, has been arrested on charges of raping a 16-year-old boy under IPC and the POCSO Act. The Mumbai police have produced him in court and he is remanded to police custody till October 3.

The minor's mother was the one who filed the complaint, in May, after accidentally finding out that her son had been active on a dating app to meet older men. She caught her son with another man in his room. The 16-year-old confessed to her mother that he has had sexual relations with multiple men. The mother has filed complaints against all the men involved. As per reports, the 16-year-old had been active on the dating and had misinformed about his age to men he had met.

Sanjay More, the senior inspector of Khar police station, told a leading daily, “We have arrested Kangana Ranaut’s hairstylist in a POCSO case.” Eight people have been arrested in the case, including a school teacher and a businessman.

An officer from Khar police told the leading daily, “The boy had made an account on a dating app and invited many people, ranging from 30 to 60 years, to have sex with him. He downloaded the app in 2017 and met around 15 men for the sex.”

To be noted, Brendon Allister De Gee is a South African national. He has been working in the Indian film industry for the past 10 years.
