One of the biggest banners of Bollywood, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, suffered humungous loss after a massive fire broke out at their godown in Goregoan, Mumbai. This organisation, the renowned production house of tinsel town, was started by KJo’s father Yash Johar. According to leading media reports, the incident took place yesterday (April 30) at their godown in Cama Industrial Estate, Goregaon East. As per a report in DNA, due to this massive fire break out, innumerable valuables have been turned into ashes. However, no casualty has been reported yet. Reports also states that the fire started around wee hours, 2.30am and 12 fire engines were deployed to extinguish the fire. Senior police inspector Jyotsna Rasam told The Hindu, “Investigation is underway to identify the source of the fire”. The daily quoted chief fire officer PS Rahangdale saying, “We have disconnected their electric and water supply. Karan Johar has not commented anything yet about this. The last two films that were released under Dharma Productions banner include Kesari and Kalank. The other films that are yet to release under this big banner are Brahmastra, Drive and Takht.
