Kartik Aaryan is currently the new blue-eyed boy of Bollywood. After having his first 100 Cr film, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety last year, the actor is set for some new challenges in 2019. The actor took to social media this morning sharing the first look of his upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh. The film will also star Ananya Panday, who Kartik is rumoured to be dating, and Bhumi Pednekar as the female leads. It is being directed Mudassar Aziz.
The film is an adaptation of BR Chopra's 1978 film with the same name which starred Sanjeev Kapoor in a lead role. Reprising the yesteryear star will be Kartik Aaryan. The first look features Kartik in a never seen before look. This look is nowhere close to the usual cool dude image that he has previously been synonymous with. Kartik will be playing the character of Chintu Tyagi, a married man and is seen wearing a chequered shirt and moustache in the first look.

All of us on the on the set were taken aback to see this transformation of Kartik from a boy-next-door to a mature individual. He looks visibly different from the characters he has played in the past. I am sure this decision on his part to experiment with his look will be liked by his fans."
