Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon have kick-started the year on a good note courtesy their first film together Luka Chuppi. After garnering good reviews from the critics, the film took a massive opening at the box office by raking in Rs 8.01 crore. With this, the film also became Kartik's biggest opener and since then Luka Chuppi has been enjoying a dream run at the ticket windows in India. In the first three days, the film collected Rs 32.13 crore and now its set to surpass the Rs 50 crore mark. Luka Chuppi released alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Sonchiriya on March 1. While the former has turned out to be a crowd puller, the latter has failed to get cash registers ringing at the BO. After witnessing a dull occupancy on day 1, the dacoit drama went on to mint only Rs 4.60 in the opening weekend. Apart from these two films, Ajay Devgn's multi-starrer Total Dhamaal is also running in theatres along with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's Gully Boy. Both the films have already entered the Rs 100 crore club and are now eyeing to finish their theatrical run with a good figure.
