The team of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi had launched the new trailer of the film, and it is ruling on social media. National award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut is playing the lead in the movie, playing the fearless Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi, She had fought against the British during the National uprising of 1857 and lost her life in the process. However, merely hours after the trailer launch, Manikarnika has attracted a new controversy. Actor Andy von Eich who plays a British officer in the movie has accused the producers of not paying him his salary for acting in the movie. He revealed this gaffe in his tweet that he had put up in an hour after the trailer launch. As per his IMDB, this German-born actor has been a part of movies like Neerja, Fitoor and the Malayalam film, Kammara Sambhavam. We sure hope that the Manikarnika team will look into this and clear all the actors' dues. Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is all set to release on January 25, 2019.
