Seems like Miss World 2017 winner Manushi Chhillar is literally following Priyanka Chopra's footsteps. The small-town girl who bagged Miss World Crown in 2017 is the only girl since Priyanka Chopra who was able to bring home the glory. She's PeeCee's successor in a way but it seems like her movie choices and Bollywood career is equally inspiring for the newbie. The beauty pageant winner will mark her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar. Priyanka, in her initial days, also grabbed eyeballs when she starred with Akshay Kumar and Lara Dutta in Andaaz. Manushi Chhillar’s Latest Photo-Shoot in Backless Black Dress Is Smoking Hot – View Pics.

While there were reports about Manushi being on board for Khiladi Kumar's historical drama, Prithviraj, the reports were recently confirmed by the film's director. In his recent chat with Bombay Times, director Chandraprakash Dwivedi revealed, "We were looking to find someone who could match the magnetic persona of Sanyogita and we found that in Manushi. She auditioned for the role a couple of times because we wanted to be dead sure with this casting and she nailed it each time. She has been rehearsing six days a week since then and she is being thoroughly groomed for the last 9 months by YRF." Manushi Chhillar's Recent Pictures from her Seychelles Holiday Will Make You Envy Her.

Coming to Manushi, she's equally thrilled about being associated with such a big project. Speaking about her reaction, Chhillar said, "It is a huge honour to have been chosen by a production house like Yash Raj Films as their heroine! I’m thoroughly happy and thrilled about the learnings that I will have through this journey. My life, so far, has really been a fairy-tale."

Prithviraj revolves around the Rajput ruler, Prithviraj Chauhan. While Akshay Kumar will play the titular role, Manushi will star opposite him.
