The coming Friday will have a total of five films hitting the silver screen in India. A solo Bollywood release and four Hollywood films are clashing with each other at the box office. Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh are starring in De De Pyar De, a quirky romantic drama. For Hollywood aficionados, Keanu Reeves is arriving with the third instalment of his popular action franchise. John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum is releasing worldwide on May 17. The first two John Wick films did well at the international box-office and thanks to the popularity of the franchise, Parabellum might bring in big numbers. De De Pyaar De Dialogue Teaser: Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Jimmy Shergill’s Funny Banter Is LOL – Watch Video

The next one is also a comedy-drama titled The Hustle featuring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson in the lead. The other two releases, Gail Mancuso-directorial, A Dog's Journey and Ry Russo-Young's The Sun Is Also A Star, might play cold at the box-office thanks to lack of hype in India. With Pokémon: Detective Pikachu catching pace at the box office and Avengers: Endgame looking to cross Dangal's collections, screen occupancy for few films might be an area of concern. A Dog's Journey Trailer: Bailey is Back and His New Journey is Even More Adorable; Watch Video

So if you are planning to catch a movie this week, check out below what might be the new fare waiting for you!

De De Pyaar De

Film Editor Akiv Ali marks his Bollywood debut with this Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh-starrer. The film's quirkiness comes from its plot where Ajay plays a 50-year old falling in love with a girl half of his age. Tabu, who plays his ex-wife, also has an equally important role to play in the film. Written by Luv Ranjan, De De Pyaar De also stars Jaaved Jaaferi, Alok Nath and Jimmy Shergill in the supporting cast.

John Wick Chapter 3 - Parabellum

Keanu Reeves is back in action as one of the most wanted assassins in the third instalment of John Wick series. The movie has John Wick on the run after breaking the rules for the assassin community. This puts his name on the blacklist with a $14 million price tag on his name, and Jon Wick is now hounded by hitmen. The film also stars Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne and Mark Dacascos in major roles.

The Hustle

Anne Hathaway as Josephine Chesterfield and Rebel Wilson as Penny will tickle your funny bone with this American comedy-drama. The plot of the film revolves around a British Woman (Anne) who teams up with Penny (Rebel Wilson) to take down the gang of men who have conned them. This Chris Addison-directorial is a remake of 1988 movie Dirty Rotten Scoundrels starring Michael Caine and Steve Martin.

A Dog's Journey

Gail Mancuso-directed A Dog's Journey is a sequel to the critically acclaimed hit, A Dog’s Purpose. The film revolves around a dog Bailey whose journey exceeds generations and lives forming an irreplaceable bond. The film is a feeling-full ride showcasing a dog's point of view in quite a fascinating style.

The Sun Is Also A Star

This Russo-Young film is based on the international Best-selling novel of the same name written by Nicola Yoon. The film features Yara Shahidi as New Yorker Natasha Kingsley and Charles Melton as Daniel Bae, two individuals who are entangled in each other's love. Natasha who doesn't believe in love falls for his new mate Daniel as their obsession will leave you with a series of emotions.
