Padmaavat is facing innumerable challenges, so much so, that we do not know where to lend our focus now. The protests by Shri Rajput Karni Sena are growing day by day despite the film getting green signal from The Supreme Court of India and The Central Board of Film Certification. SC lent support to Padmaavat by refuting the decision of banning it in 4 states viz Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana. However, the director of Gujarat Multiplex Association, Rakesh Patel revealed that the magnum opus will be not screened in the state.

Talking to ANI, "We have decided not to screen the movie in whole of Gujarat. Everyone is scared, No multiplex wants to bear the loss. Why will we bear the loss? ", said Rakesh Patel, Director, Gujarat Multiplex Association."

Well, we wonder what the aam junta in the state have to say when such unofficial ban is imposed on the much awaited period drama.  How is it even fair that the fans from other states are allowed to watch the film and you are not? Anyway, the new statement by Patel has created a new roadblock for the makers and we are not sure how is this going to be handled.

On the other hand, Akshay Kumar pushed his film PadMan to February with a big heart.  In a press conference he said that SLB's film's stakes are more and they really need the slot so they took this decision. Bhansali expressed that he will be thankful to Akshay for the lifetime for this gesture. While the film fraternity stands firm with the Padmaavat clan, the other factors have put the cast in a tough spot. What are your thoughts on this?
