India is currently taken over by the election results fever as the Lok Sabha Election Results 2019 were announced today. A massive saffron surge has swept through most parts of India, as the BJP-led NDA government is all set to return for its second term. While most Indians are hooked to their television screens since morning as soon as the counting of votes began, this Bollywood actor too is enjoying himself at home, watching the news. Any guesses who we are referring to? Well, it is none other than Salman Khan. The actor posted a picture of himself sitting shirtless on his Twitter handle and wrote, "Chilling and watching the news Swachch Bharat Fit Bharat." The 'Swachh Bharat' referring to PM Narendra Modi's popular campaign and with this tweet, Salman seems to have shown his support for the big BJP win.

The Bharat star earlier also posted a congratulatory message for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where he wrote, "Many congratulations Hon. Prime Minister @narendramodi on your decisive victory. We stand by you in building a stronger India."

The actor has been keeping busy since the past couple of weeks with the promotions of his upcoming Ali Abbas Zafar film. Salman and his leading lady Katrina Kaif were recently seen on the sets of Kapil Sharma Show as they shot for an upcoming episode yesterday. Looks like the actor took off early from promotions today, so as to enjoy the election results at home.

Apart from Salman, several celebrities including Asha Bhosle, Rajinikanth, Dharmendra and Ekta Kapoor congratulated the ruling party, BJP for the Lok Sabha Polls result after the trends indicated a clean sweep for the party for a second consecutive term.
