Shah Rukh Khan's Zero may have had a poor run at the Indian box office but the movie apparently received some good response at the Beijing International Film Festival. The movie was selected as the closing film of this film festival and certain reports hint about the viewers' positive response for it. If popular film critic Ramesh Bala is to believe, the Chinese version had several cuts from its original one but the response was good overall. He tweeted, ". @iamsrk presented #Zero at the #BeijingInternationalFilmFestival With edits from the original version, movie received good response from Chinese audience.." Shah Rukh Khan's Zero Beats Bohemian Rhapsody and Avengers: Infinity War to Become Top-Selling Film on Google Playstore.

SRK was in Beijing these days promoting his last release and interacting with the Chinese media. It was during one of his interaction when he opened up about Zero's failure and suggested he may have made a wrong film this time. "Unfortunately, Zero itself wasn't received too well back home in India, maybe I made the wrong film, maybe I did not do the right storytelling so I am a little wary how it will be received here and I hope people here will like it," he said. Ranveer Singh’s Simmba, Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero, Sara Ali Khan’s Kedarnath – If December 2018’s Big Releases Had Honest Movie Titles – View Pics.

However, after bagging some good reactions at the film festival, there are chances that he may release the film in China very soon. Aayushmann Khurrana's Andhadhun is enjoying a great run at the Chinese box office currently and Zero may soon join the list. Made on a whopping budget of Rs 200 crore, Zero collected only Rs 90 crore at the Indian box office.
