The Immortal Ashwatthama: Vicky Kaushal's Film To Be Shot In Greenland, Tokyo and New Zealand (Read Deets)

The fans are extremely excited about Vicky Kaushal's next film, which is tentatively titled as The Immortal Ashwatthama. Based on the popular character from epic saga Mahabharata, the film will be helmed by Aditya Dhar. Post the success of Uri: The Surgical Strike, the filmmaker is taking a leap of faith with this mythological film. Now, as per the reports in Mumbai Mirror, the movie will be shot extensively abroad with heavy work of VFX. It's John Abraham v/s Vicky Kaushal! Satyameva Jayate 2 to Clash with Sardar Udham Singh Biopic.

The filmmaker was quoted saying, "Soft prep began two months ago while formal prep will start in a fortnight. We will shoot the entire film in a start-to-finish schedule and have shortlisted Greenland, Tokyo, New Zealand and Namibia as locations. I will be collaborating with teams from all over the world on the action. The entire post-production, including the VFX, will be done in the US."

The national award winner also revealed tidbits of his look saying, "Like Uri, Vicky has to gain an incredible amount of weight, but this time, he will also have to lose it all during the course of the filming. His look will come as a complete surprise to all." Well, we cannot wait for the first look to release and also for the director to reveal the rest of the cast. Apart from this, the actor also has a few more interesting projects in his hand. He will be seen in Meghna Gulzar's film on Sam Manekshaw. Then, he will also be seen in Netflix movie titled as Ghost Stories.
