Ananya Panday made her Bollywood debut this year with Student of the Year 2, and from critics to fans, everyone lauded her performance. Meanwhile, Ishaan Khatter made his acting debut with Majid Majidi’s film Beyond The Clouds, which again was critically acclaimed. Both these youngsters have won hearts with their respective works and now are all set to share screen space in Maqbool Khan’s directorial, Khaali Peeli. It was in August this year when the makers of Khaali Peeli released the first look Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday, and it was quite impressive. It is quite common that celebs who work with each other in films are bound to have fun on the sets. But in case of Ananya, looks like she’ll have to be a bit a cautious. In an interview to a leading tabloid, the young actress has mentioned the one thing that her co-star Ishaan does not like at all. It is nothing else but the fact that Ananya is always on the phone on the sets of Khaali Peeli.

In an interview to Mirror, Ananya Panday was quoted as saying, “He (Ishaan Khatter) confiscates my phone and has even threatened to break it, so I am trying to reduce my phone convos.” Ishaan must be pretty serious when it comes to work, but he is undoubtedly enjoying troubling his co-star as well. Besides this, Ananya also dropped hints about her character in the film. Khaali Peeli, produced Ali Abbas Zafar and Himanshu Mehra under the banner of Zee Studios, is scheduled to be released on June 12, 2020. Besides this project, Ishaan Khatter will also be seen in Mira Nair’s A Suitable Boy, whereas Ananya Panday has an untitled project in her kitty in which she is sharing screen space with Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
