Rajkumar Hirani has been accused of sexual misconduct by a woman who worked with him in Sanju. The news comes in right after the blind item that was carried in Mumbai Mirror and Pinkvilla which mentioned how a filmmaker who delivered a big hit last year, has been accused of sexual harassment, due to which his name has been dropped from the posters of an upcoming film (Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga). Huffington Post India did a detailed research on this and got in touch with the alleged victim who, in a statement, has said that she sent an email to Vidhu Vinod Chopra back in November 2018 sharing her ordeal. She also marked Anupama Chopra and Abhijat Joshi who has worked with Hirani on the script of Sanju and a few of his other films earlier. SHOCKING! According to the report, the woman has alleged that the assault took place once the team started working on post- production of the film. Hirani, however, has denied all allegations. His lawyer Anand Desai has been quoted saying, “At the outset, our client states that the allegations made against him are false, mischievous, scandalous, motivated and defamatory,” Desai said in an email dated December 5, 2018 to HuffPost India.
