American actor Rip Torn died at 88. The actor died at his residence with his wife and Stardust Memories actress by his side. His daughters Katie and Angelica to were present when he passed away in Lakeville, Connecticut. He is best known for his role of Artie on The Larry Sanders Show. The actor's actual name is Elmore Rual Torn Jr and got named as Rip due to the family tradition. He was called by the same name in the industry too.
