The new Superman movie, written and directed by James Gunn, is hitting theatres on July 11, 2025. The superhero movie, a part of the DC Universe (DCU) garnered huge excitement among fans due to its changes in the lead character, marking a new chapter for DC fans. The role of Superman is played by David Corenswet, who is best known for his role in The Politician. The cast also includes Rachel Brosnahan, Nathan Fillion. Isabela Merced, Edi Gathegi and Anthony Carigan. According to reports, Superman has been illegally leaked on torrent sites like HDHub, Movierulz, Tamilrockers, 1337x and Telegram channels in HD format.

This is not the first time a movie has been leaked online for free watch ahead of its theatrical release. Almost every film falls prey to piracy but rarely does that happen before it drops in theatres, but it happens - see Salman Khan's Sikandar.

In the past, many strict actions and restrictions were taken against these sites but even after getting blocked, these sites bounced back, promoting piracy. This needs strict action by the cyber cell.
