Bigg Boss 3 Telugu was constantly in the news ever since its announcement - be it for its back and forth decisions on locking the host of the show, or for controversies surrounding it. In fact, after Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna announced him as the winner, Rahul broke down on the stage. The top 5 contestants of this season were Ali Reza, Sreemukhi, Baba Bhaskar, Rahul Sipligunj and Varun Sandesh, out of which a lot of buzz started doing the rounds that Sreemukhi might with Bigg Boss Telugu 3 but Rahul won the show and Sreemukhi was the first runner-up. It can be recalled that Rahul, was the first contestant to even enter the show's finale.

Rahul's honest and loyal attitude towards his friends was one of the huge pros, which won him a huge audience base. In fact, he also drank 20 glasses of bitter gourd juices for his best friend and connection in the house Punarnavi Bhupalam.
