In a recent interview, Sri Vadan, the elder brother of veteran Telugu comedy actor Brahmanandam, opened up about his current life in their native village and the distance that has grown between them. Speaking to local media, Sri Vadan revealed that out of six siblings, only he and Brahmanandam remain alive, while the other four have passed away. Living alone in their ancestral hometown, Vadan stated that he has had no direct communication with his younger brother for a long time. He mentioned a recent incident where the actor visited the village but left without meeting or speaking to him.

Despite the lack of contact, Vadan refrained from placing direct blame on the actor, acknowledging Brahmanandam's demanding schedule as a high-profile public figure. He noted that his brother built him a house and funded the marriages of his three daughters in the past.

Clarifying his current circumstances, Vadan stated that he works as a priest at a local temple, receives support from his daughters, and does not require financial assistance. He emphasised that his only wish is for a simple phone call or a brief exchange to ask about his well-being.
