The big announcement of the day has been Baahubali director SS Rajamouli's upcoming film RRR. The cast of the film was officially confirmed today and it includes Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and British actress Daisy Edgar Jones. RRR marks the debut of Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt in South and also international actress Daisy Edgar-Jones' in an Indian film. Jones is all set to romance Jr NTR in the film and we bet this news has caused fans to get curious about who Daisy Edgar Jones is. The film set in the 1920s is based on real-life characters.

The British actress has been a part of some successful productions in the UK. She has starred in short films as well as drama series till now and this film will mark her first International project. One of her most popular works includes Tom Cruise starrer Steven Spielberg directorial War of The Worlds (2005). Apart from this, Jones has been a part of famed British comedy series, Cold Feet which is a series based on a story based in Manchester, England. The London based actress is known to be fluent in having multiple accents from Irish, Scottish to American. We are still not clear about what will be Jones' character and what identity will it have. Daisy was last seen in Pond Life which recently premiered at Borderlines Film Festival, UK and is all set to release in theatres on April 26.

It will be interesting to see how Rajamouli plans to use Daisy EdgarJones in the story. With real-life characters, Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem. The film would be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and other Indian languages simultaneously and is set for a July 2020 release.
