On October 23, the makers of the upcoming Tamil film Hero announced that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan would be launching the teaser. And as promised, the superstar has launched the teaser of Hero! Starring Sivakarthikeyan, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Abhay Deol and Arjun Sarja in the lead, this action thriller looks like a mass entertainer. This film marks the debut of Kalyani Priyadarshan and Abhay Deol’s debut in the Tamil industry. Daughter of ace filmmaker Priyadarshan, Kalyani the leading lady, has had a brief appearance in the teaser. Abhay, a business tycoon, is all set to play the antagonist and Twitterati is mighty impressed with his stylish entry. Arjun Sarja is also playing a key role in the film. But the one who has won hearts is none other than Sivakarthikeyan. His superhero avatar has left netizens mighty impressed. The teaser has not revealed much about the plot, however it shows how the ‘superhero’ is trying to safeguard the system. While sharing the teaser on Twitter, the film’s director captioned it as, “Heroes are made by the path they choose, not the powers they possess. Here we go, unleashing our HERO!”

The film’s music has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. This is the second time that the ace music composer is working with PS Mithran and Sivakarthikeyan after Irumbu Thirai and Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, respectively. Hero is all set to hit the big screens on December 20, 2019.
