The Telugu comedy-drama Hey Balwanth, starring Suhas and Shivani Nagaram, has officially made its digital debut. ‘Hey Balwnath’ OTT Update

The digital streaming rights for Hey Balwanth were acquired by ZEE5. The film premiered on the platform today, March 31, 2026. In an effort to reach a wider audience across South India, the streaming giant has released the film not only in its original Telugu version but also with dubbed versions in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. While the South Indian languages are now live, reports suggest a Hindi version may arrive on a different platform at a later date.

‘Hey Balwnath’ Plot

The story centres on Krishna (played by Suhas), a Guntur-based postgraduate who deeply admires his father, Rao Balwanth (VK Naresh). Eager to prove his worth, Krishna aspires to take over the family business. However, the plot takes a sharp turn when he discovers the unconventional and ethically complex nature of his father's profession, a lodge that provides shelter to marginalised individuals.

The narrative follows Krishna’s internal conflict as he balances his personal values and his blossoming romance with Mithra (Shivani Nagaram), an idealistic NGO founder, while coming to terms with his father's legacy.
