The film officially premiered online on May 22, 2026, roughly four weeks after its initial big-screen release on April 23. Madhuvidhu is available to stream exclusively on SonyLIV, which secured the post-theatrical digital rights for the project.

‘Madhuvidhu’ Plot and Cast Details
The narrative centres on Amrutharaj, affectionately known as Ammu (played by Sharaf U Dheen), a café owner from Adoor who resides in a household shared entirely by five men, including his widowed father and bachelor uncles. Due to a perceived village superstition surrounding the family, Ammu faces 28 failed marriage alliances.
The story picks up when he falls in love with Sneha Markose (Kalyani Panicker). As the couple navigates the path to matrimony, they must deal with deep-seated family dynamics, routine domestic challenges, and the pressure of breaking the household's long-standing single streak.
Beyond the lead pair, the project features a supporting cast including veteran actors Jagadish, Saikumar, and Azees Nedumangad. It also features cameo appearances by Vineeth Sreenivasan and seasoned actress Bindu Panicker.
The movie is produced by Ajith Vinayaka under the banner of Ajith Vinayaka Films, with co-production by Babu Ettan Films.
