Keerthy Suresh won the National Film Award for Best Actress for playing the role of Savitri in the 2018 released film Mahanati. Daughter of producer Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka, this 27-year-old is one of the most sought after actresses down south. Besides being offered with ample of south projects, Keerthy is also going to make her Bollywood debut with Maidaan, in which she is sharing screen space with Ajay Devgn. In an interview to a leading daily the National Award-winning actress has mentioned about the kind of projects she zeroes down. Speaking about the kind of films she chooses, Keerthy explained, “Well, I’ve been feeling the pressure since the time I took up Mahanati, now it’s gotten too much (laughs). I’ve become very choosy about the films I take up. There are obviously a lot of offers coming my way, but I’m now more responsible in picking the right project so that I can deliver my best.
