Ram Charan has just earned a huge blockbuster in Rangasthalam. Not only is the movie doing awesome business in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, but also overseas as well. Rangasthalam, directed by Sukumar, has also got some really good reviews from the critics as well. The period drama has Samantha Akkineni as the female lead, while Aadi Pinisetty, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj also have important roles in the movie.

Rangasthalam has now become the highest grossing movie in star Ram Charan's career, as well as that of 2018 in Telugu Film Industry (TFI). But is it the highest grossing movie of the industry of all time? Well, that's what their latest promotional material claims to be.

As per website Telugu 360, the makers have released a new full page ad in newspapers that display Rangasthalam's worldwide collections of Rs 175 crore gross. Well, that's okay. The figures could be right (even when the producers down South have a tendency to give out bloated figures). Check out the poster below -

But something else that the makers proclaimed on the poster doesn't go with the facts. They have claimed that the movie is the biggest hit in TFI, which is so not true. In fact, the movie is the third highest grossing movie in TFI, after Prabhas' Baahubali 1 and Baahubali 2. There is, of course, a disclaimer but it is so illegible to read that it is better to be non-existent. So dear makers, what are you playing at here?

Interestingly, Ram Charan is playing one of the leads in Baahubali director SS Rajamouli's next.

Rangasthalam has been produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Sankar and Mohan Cherukuri under the banner Mythri Movie Makers.
