South actress and model Sri Reddy has taken the Tollywood industry by storm. She recently held a topless protest against the norm of casting couch in the Telugu film in industry, following which many big names got pulled into the controversy. Abhiram Dagubatti, AR Murugadoss, Raghava Lawrence, Srikanth, C Sundar, Koratala Siva, Nani are some of the people she accused of sexual exploitation. However, actor and treasurer of ‘Nadigar Sangam’ organisation, Karthi, slammed Sri Reddy for all the accusations she is making without any proof. He also revealed that Nadigar Sangam will soon have an official statement released.

As reported in India Today, the actor said, "Nadigar Sangam will release an official statement regarding this. It is a baseless issue, and I, as an individual, cannot comment on it as there is no proof for the allegations made so far."

He further stated., “Media should decide whether it is essential to blow up the issue or not. If Sri Reddy has proof, she should have gone to the police by now. Instead of doing that, she is accusing everyone. So, I don't think it is okay for me to comment on the controversy right now."

Earlier, Sri Reddy even mentioned the names like Tamanaahh Bhatia, Hansika Motwani, Nayanthara, Trisha and asked as to why they aren’t opening up on the issue of casting couch they faced in the industry. She also accused that 'Tamil Nadu Film Producers Council (TFPC)' president Vishal threatened her to stop talking about the issue. Sri Reddy’s next reaction on Karthi and Nadigar Sangam’s statement is awaited now.
