Bigg Boss 12 definitely started off on a boring note, only to reach an explosive end. After battling it out for 3 months, commoners Romil Chaudhary and Deepak Thakur and celebs Dipika Kakar, Sreesanth Nair and Karanvir Bohra, made it to the Top 5 list. Karanvir and Romil were the first ones to go, followed by Deepak Thakur who opted to quit the show after taking the money briefcase consisting Rs 20 Lakhs. The competition that came down to Dipika Kakar and Sreesanth Nair, was won by the former. Dipika Kakar Gets A Romantic, Lovely and Dhamakedar Welcome Back In Mumbai- Watch Video

And just like everybody is entitled to their opinion, while Dipika’s fans were elated and celebrated their joy, some of Sreesanth’s fans were bitter and voiced how they felt that Dipika did not deserve to win the show and that she was constantly in the shadow of Sreesanth.

And while nobody takes social media opinions seriously, one of Sreesanth’s fans threatened to throw acid on Dipika and this did not go down with the actress’ fans, who then tweeted to the Mumbai Police Twitter page. Bigg Boss 12: A Twitter User Threatens to Throw Acid on Dipika Kakar, Surbhi Rana Comes Out in Her Support

However, this seems to have prompted swift action from none other than Sreesanth. Sree who happened to visit Dipika and Shoaib’s Mumbai residence last night went live on Instagram and both he and Dipika urged their respective fandoms to respect each other and also to not cross certain lines.

The also set the record straight that there was no animosity between the duo and that their fandoms too should let the war go.

Here’s what Sreesanth said to his fans during his live session, “I have come live on Instagram and one of the main reasons is because there is a lot of buzz on social media. I want to thank Dipikaji and my fans for passionately supporting us. Also, what I want to say is all that is happening (fandom wars on social media) it’s too horrific and crossing limits. I want to tell everyone that Dipikaji meri behen thi, hai aur humesha rahegi. Ek family wala rishta hai humara and I want to thank Bigg Boss and Colors Endemol for having given me a chance to know her. And it is a request from my side to both our fandoms. Love the two of us together.”

He also roped in Dipika for the live session where she too urged fans, “Okay guys. As Bhai ne kaha, it is lovely how you guys have supported us in this journey. We thank you with all our hearts. Also, the relation we formed is true by heart, so please respect that and keep supporting us both together.”

There was also this one user who wrote about how Romil’s fan clubs were creating fake ids and trying to ignite fandom wars. To this Sreesanth said, “Pata hai yaar. But thanks to such social sites where we get to connect and talk to you guys directly and also clear some misunderstandings.”

That’s not all, Sreesanth also promoted his upcoming television show Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 and also his movies and also gave a shout-out to Shoaib’s upcoming venture Battalion 609.
