Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Disha Vakani aka Daya Ben has been missing from the screens for a long time as she went on maternity leave in 2017 and her impending return seems to be ‘the longest running debatable’ in tinsel town. Various reports cited different reasons behind Disha not returning to the show, However, the latest one suggests producer Asit Kumarr Modi, who had clarified in January that her contract still hasn't been terminated, has given Disha a 30-day notice period to return to the show and if she doesn't return within the given time, she will be replaced with another actress as the makers are now not willing to hold the crew any longer without her.
Mazel Vyas, who is known for her roles in shows like Saath Nibhana Saathiya and Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji on Star Plus, is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Ranbir Kapoor’s Forthcoming Film Shamshera. The actress has bagged a pivotal role in the film. Earlier dropping a hint about her Bollywood debut, the actress had told a publication, "I am on the verge of signing something big, but I can’t disclose much about it right now. So, the year has started well and I hope 2019 stays that way. Helmed by Karan Malhotra, the film has a star studded cast, comprising Ranbir Kapoor, Ronit Roy and Vaani Kapoor in pivotal roles, and is scheduled to hit the screens on July 31, 2020.
