Popular television actors Ridhi Dogra and Raqesh Bapat, who have been married for over 7 years, have called it quits and the two are now living separately. Reports also suggest that they are heading towards a legal separation. The news of Ridhi and Raqesh's marital dissolution have come as a surprise to the most of us. However, the couple has now confirmed the news as said in a joint statement that they are "two best friends who may not be a couple anymore."

TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor welcomed her first child on January 27 via surrogacy, just like her brother Tusshar Kapoor. She broke the news to her fans and followers on Twitter. Ekk Nayi Pehchaan actress Krystle D'Souza was rumoured to be dating actor Karan Tacker for quite a few years but as per the latest reports, they both parted ways in August last year. However, after her alleged breakup with the TV actor, the reports about her dating Race 3 actor Freddy Daruwala started surfacing on the internet. However, the actress took to the micro-blogging site to dismiss the reports and wrote, "Wow! Never even met this person in my life and I am apparently dating and have some ‘growing PDA at private parties’ with him? I don’t know to laugh or be upset about baseless news like these! Also, you might be looking for ‘crystal’ and I might be looking forward to an apology." Well, the actress was clearly upset about this wrong information and was in no mood to take things with a pinch of salt.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Hina Khan, who is quite a hit among fans with her role as the vivacious Komolika, is reported taking a break for some months from Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. Yes, the actress, whose much-hyped entry on the show as Komolika generated a lot of curiosity among the viewers, will be missing from the show post-March. Talking about it, in a statement to Bombay Times, the actress said, "I am not quitting Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, but I am going on a break for five-six months, as I have given my nod to a movie." Also, the actress, in her recent live session with her fans, had said that she is heading to Cannes this year with her new film Lines, and has some international projects in the pipeline too.

Film and television actor Syed Badr-ul Hasan Khan Bahadur, popularly known as Pappu Polyester, reportedly breathed his last on Tuesday. The actor reportedly passed away in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh from where he originally hailed. However, no further details of his demise are known yet. Pappu Polyester, who was last seen in Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Jodha Akbar, was in the film industry for last 25 years. He was known for his presence through his roles in many films like Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Mann, Khoya Khoya Chand and Badal. Bollywood is truly unfortunate to miss a gem like him and we pray for his soul to rest in peace. Stay tuned to this space for further updates.
