When And Where To Watch
The GTA 6 extended look, which could showcase new gameplay footage, will premiere globally on August 27 at 3 PM Eastern Time (ET). For viewers in India, the premiere will stream early on Friday, August 28, at 12:30 AM IST.

Viewers who do not have a Netflix subscription will be able to watch the extended look for free later the same evening. Rockstar Games will release the footage on its official YouTube channel and website at 6 PM PT/9 PM ET on August 27, which translates to 6:30 AM IST on August 28. According to a Variety report, Netflix described the collaboration as "a first-of-its-kind partnership to premiere an extended look at the next evolution in the groundbreaking Grand Theft Auto series, Grand Theft Auto VI."
Fans Had Been Demanding A New Trailer
Rockstar has not confirmed exactly how long the presentation will run, but the title, "An Extended Look," suggests a more substantial glimpse into the open-world game than previous trailers. The announcement comes at a time when fans had been pushing the studio to release a third trailer for GTA 6.
GTA 6 Release Details
GTA 6 is set to release on November 19, 2026, arriving more than 13 years after GTA V, the second best-selling video game of all time. Based on the two trailers released so far, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval will be the game's primary characters, reportedly inspired by notorious American criminals Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow.
