The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras has opened the window to correct the applications of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2019. All the candidates who have applied for the examination can check and change their status (wherever needed) from October 31 till November 7, 2018, through the official website; gate.iitm.ac.in. It must be noted that the correction window this time is open for students who want to change their data like gender, category, PwD status or dyslexia and other similar categories. Besides, the last date for requesting a change of examination city is allotted till November 16. QS Asia Rankings 2019: Here Are the List of Indian Universities Among Top 100 Institutes. 

For the changes in the exam venue, the candidates will have to pay an additional fee. All the engineering aspirants are recommended to do the needful (if any) sooner to avoid the last-minute hurry. Once the application procedure is completed, IIT Madras will publish the admit card from January 4, 2019. The upcoming GATE is scheduled to be conducted on February 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2018 at various centres across. GATE is a 3 hours long duration entrance exam which consists of both multiple choice and numerical answer type questions. IITs across the nation conduct GATE. For 2019, IIT Madras will host the entrance exam for candidates seeking admissions to various engineering, architecture, technology and science masters and Doctoral programmes. The test will be conducted on 24 subjects, and the candidates can appear in any one of them.
