NEET UG 2019 Result Declared: MCC Counselling for the NTA Qualified Candidates to Begin Soon at mcc.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), result on June 6, 2019. A total of 7,97,042 candidates have qualified the NEET UG 2019 result and the successful students are now gearing up for the next stage. NTA would be sharing the NEET 2019 All India Merit List with the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), for the counselling procedure. MCC is yet to activate the registration link for the counselling process and admission to MBBS and BDS courses in the medical and dental colleges in India. Qualified candidates can apply for the same by visiting the official website; mcc.nic.inCheck NTA Entrance Exam Scores & All India Rank Merit List Online. 

To get admission to MBBS/ BDS courses, general category candidates need to score a minimum 50th percentile in NEET. For those belonging to the reserved category, SC and ST, the minimum marks to be scored are 40th percentile and PwD candidates, it is 45th percentile. NEET UG score is accepted by the Indian colleges and institutes and in fact it is also mandatory for students who are aspiring to study medicine and related fields abroad. NEET UG Result 2019 All India Merit List. 

What’s Next?

Qualified NEET UG candidates will next have to register for MCC counselling. NTA will share the list of successful candidates to DG of Health Services, medical examination cell of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. As of now only the registration link for NEET PG 2019 counselling has been activated. MCC would be releasing the online counselling schedule soon on its website, mcc.nic.in. The final dates for the MCC counselling are yet to be declared.

Nalin Khandelwal has emerged as NTA NEET UG 2019 topper, with a score of 701/ 720 Marks. There are a total of 20 girls who secured whopping percentile to be in the top 100 NEET UG 2019 AIR List. Madhuri Reddy G, is All India Rank 7, and is first among women candidates. She hails from Telangana and has scored 695 out of 720 marks.
