The National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully conducted its first University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET). No glitches or malpractices from any of the exam centres have been reported. At recent, the agency released the UGC NET December 2018 question papers and recorded responses which are available online on ntanet.nic.in. All the candidates of UGC NET 2018 can check and download the same for future responses. However, there is yet no official announcement of the answer keys. If we go by reports, the NTA is slated to upload the answer keys by the end of this month, which is December 31. While releasing the questions and recorded responses, NTA on its website wrote, “The NTA’s decision on the challenges shall be final and the result will be declared on the basis of final answer keys. No grievance with regard to answer key(s) after declaration of result of UGC NET December, 2018 will be entertained.” The Indian Express reported that the answer keys of the UGC NET 2018 exam would be released on January 31 and the results on January 10. This year, UGC NET was conducted on December 22, and over 1.8 lakh candidates had registered. About 65.3 per cent have candidates have appeared in the exam on one day, and 72.8 per cent wrote the exam on day two.
