The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has declared the class 10 compartment and improvement results on the official website; upmsp.edu.in. All the candidates can check their scores as the link for the same has been activated by the Uttar Pradesh Board. Students who did not perform up to the mark or even failed in a subject or two in the regular class 10 board exams in UP, had applied for the supplementary/ improvement examinations 2018. In a significant achievement, this year, over 99 per cent of class 10 have been reported to clear the compartment and improvement exams in Uttar Pradesh. UP Board Exam Results: 150 Schools Record Zero Pass Percentage. 

According to a TOI report, about 11,557 students from across the state had registered for class 10 improvement exams, out of which only 10,053 participated. 85 students took the compartment exams in which 76 were announced successful; the pass percentage stood at 89.421 per cent. On the other hand, it was reported that 9,994 class 10 candidates sat for improving their performances in various subjects, out of which 9,977 passed the exams. The students can check their marks using their roll number as mentioned in the admit card.

UPSEB Secretary, Neena Srivastava informed that the mark sheet, as well as passing certificate of students, has been sent to District Inspectors of Schools (DIOS) through the board’s regional offices. Now, all the candidates who have cleared the exams can take admission for higher studies. In class 10 UP board exams which held from February 6 to March 12, about 30,28,767 students appeared out of which 22,76,445 passed the examination. The class 10 compartment/ improvement exam was held in June and July this year.
