New Delhi, February 19: The online registration for UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) has begun from Tuesday, February 19. In the notification for Civil Services Exam (CSE), the Commission's official website announced 896 vacancies. It also included the 39 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability Category. The application process will be active from February 19, 2019, to March 18, 2019, 6:00 pm. IPS, IAS, IFS and Indian Forest Service aspirants can register for their respective preliminary exams at upsc.gov.in. UPSC Civil Services 2019: Steps To Apply?

  • Go to the official website upsconline.nic.in.
  • Click on the 'ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC' link in the main window.
  • Click on the 'Part-I Registration'
  • Click Yes after reading terms and conditions
  • Fill the Registration Form
  • Pay exam fees
  • Selection Exam centre
  • Upload your photo, signature, and photo identity proof
  • Accept declaration and submit the application.

The UPSC selection process is a three-step process including prelims, main and interview. The Commission first conducts the Civil Services Prelims exam, after clearing the exam qualified candidates have to appear for Civil Services Main exam which will be conducted on September 20, 2019. Finally, shortlisted aspirants will be invited for an interview.
