Parking will be prohibited on major stretches, including MG Road, Brigade Road, and 100 Feet Road in Indiranagar, starting from 4:00 PM on Wednesday, December 31. Police have warned that any vehicles remaining in these zones after the deadline will be towed and penalised.

To facilitate travel, the Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has urged citizens to use public transport. In Koramangala, traffic movement on 80 Feet Road and YD Math Road will be restricted, with specific parking zones designated at the BBMP grounds near Bethany School.

Police have established 166 drunk-driving checkpoints across the city. Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh emphasized a "zero-tolerance" policy for traffic violations, stating that AI-enabled cameras and "magic box" technology will be used to document and prosecute offenders in real-time.
