Fred was hurled with racist actions by a fan during a derby match between Manchester United and Manchester City hosted by the latter in the EPL 2019-20 clash. The Red Devils had the best answer up their sleeve to the racist jibe as won the game by 2-1. Talking about the incident, a fan was seen taking a racism jibe against Fred and the Red Devils were quick enough to report the same. The officials in the stadium also cordoned off the area as soon as Manchester United reported the incident. Manchester City also passed a statement and said that they were aware of the videos appears to show a supporter making racial gestures during the second half of the match against Manchester United this evening. Now, Rashford took to social media and praised Fred and the team.

Talking about the game, Marcus Rashford scored a goal at the 23rd minute of the game as he converted a penalty into a goal. Anthony Martial scored yet another goal in the next six minutes. Nicolas Otamendi scored a goal at the 85th minute of the game. This was the second win for Man United in the last three days.
