Himachal Pradesh, April 12: On Wednesday, it came as a huge relief for the nation, when they found that Police has been able to trace the missing PHD girl, Atreyee Majumdar at a 5-star Hotel in Bengaluru. Just one day later, another missing report and this time from Himachal Pradesh has come to the front. Search operation by police and mountain rescue team is underway to trace the missing 30-year old man in Himachal Pradesh. According to a report in ANI, the man is missing since the last 48 hours ago and had gone trekking in Manali's Hamta Pass region.

Similar incident had happened in February, when a 30-year-old man, a resident of Mansa Devi Complex (MDC), Panchkula, has gone missing, just ahead of his marriage in Himachal Pradesh. In the same month, body of Nikita Sharma was fished out of Bhakra canal after she went missing.

Atreyee from Bengaluru on the other hand, had gone missing on 4 April, the day she arrived in Bengaluru from Toronto, and was located again on 11 April. She is currently pursuing a post doctoral fellowship in Toronto. Similar incident happened, before she landed in Mumbai recently, she was not responding to calls from her parents. When she finally got back a day later, she said she had arrived in New Delhi. It was then, that her father asked her to fly to Bengaluru immediately. We really hope that, that the man is safe and Police soon be able to trace him.
